Psalm 128:1-6 (Father’s Day)
As young dads, it seemed our goal was to work hard and have the best for our family. That’s fine – we should work hard. But a lot of times we, as men, miss the true blessings of life in our young age, and it doesn’t come into focus until we get older.
We spend our time to make money to buy stuff. Did you know that when you’re gone, it will be your character that your kids will remember? Do you remember what you got for Christmas when you were 12? Do you remember what you got for your birthday when you were 9? Probably not.
