Steve was born in 1981 and is a native of Ooltewah, Tennessee. He was raised in a Christian home and became a Christian as a young child.
He’s a graduate of Ooltewah High School and married Amber, his high school sweetheart, in 1999. They met at Corinth Baptist Church in McDonald, Tennessee. Together they have two girls, Aubrey and Kaylee. Both girls are showing real musical talent just like their dad.
Steve accepted his call to preach in November 2016 and became ordained in 2018. He became the lead pastor of Lakeway in March 2018.
In addition to his responsibilities as lead pastor, Steve leads the choir and assists with maintenance responsibilities as needed.
