Romans 13:11-14
Every morning, most of us wake up to an alarm clock. I hate when mine goes off, but if it wasn’t for that clock we would be in a mess. We like to sleep, but if it wasn’t for that alarm clock, we wouldn’t have jobs, kids would be late for school, and you wouldn’t make it to church on time.
Our text is a spiritual alarm clock. Love it or hate it, we need it.
Vs 11-12a
We are in a spiritual slumber of laziness and apathy. We need a sense of urgency! Why? Because our salvation is so near. WHAT? Wasn’t I saved immediately? Yes… but remember the three tenses of salvation. I have been saved, I am being saved, and I will be saved.
