1 Timothy 1:18-19
Paul is writing to his son in the ministry, Timothy. His heart is burdened for Timothy to be faithful to the end, and Paul is pleading with Timothy. Paul is saying that there are shipwrecked souls, and he doesn’t want Timothy to be one of them.
The Titanic is probably one of the most famous shipwrecks in history. It has been looked at, talked about, and examined since it sank in 1912. When it comes to people, we probably know someone that the devil has displayed their shipwrecked life.
People come to church, sit, and listen to the preacher and then leave thinking they’ve done their part. If the church is doing its part, the members should relay the message the preacher preached to those outside. Preachers should preach to be repeated.
